Quickie : KLIA..

I was reading through Digg, and i saw this article.. The World's Most Impressive Airport Lounges.. And KLIA has one of the best lounges in the world.. Well, according to this article la.. :)

After castration..

Well..it's said and done.. Both my cats has being castrated.. The night before.. They are not allowed to eat/drinks after 10 p.m. "Puasa" la mcm tu.. The next day (which is Saturday), around 10.30 a.m, we arrived at DBKL/SPCA Klinik Kembiri at Setapak.. Quite a few people there.. Each owners have more than one cats.. & their cats are fo freakin fat & cute! I wish my cat are fat and overweight.. So me, my dad and my sis wait there while they took our cat to the surgery room..

Then after about 1 hour plus, I hear a loud MEEOOOWWW.. Immediately i know that that is my youngest cat.. Their turn has arrived.. After 20 minutes or so.. both left the surgery room.. Aww.. Kesiannyer.. When i look at them, i feel so saddened.. I said to the doctor, "Dieorg ni masih hidup ke?" coz both lying there..with their eyes and mouth open.. Not moving at all.. :(( I feel so guilty..

After about 2 hours, then only my youngest cat moved a bit.. But cound't stand still and keep falling.. My elder cat is still sleeping and drooling.. Cute..but sad.. :( Both took the whole day and night to recover.. Thankfully, they are quite OK now.. :) Although their backside is still red until today, but Pejai said it is normal.. God Almighty, please make them recover asap.. and make them live longer :)

Training, Farewell, Cats..

Finally i'm pushing myself to update my blog.. I'm quite lazy to update it because the internet here sucks and plus, I had no idea what to talk about.. So as the title goes, that's what I'm going to write as for now..

I've recently completed my training at InfoTrek Amcorp Mall.. Where i learn Advance SharePoint 2007, ASP.Net 3.5 in Visual Studio 2008 and ADO.Net 3.5 also in VS 2008.. I enjoyed SharePoint and ASP.. ADO, not so much.. Should i elaborate more? Well, in SharePoint training, we learned mostly to code in VS 2008 and integrate it with SharePoint. Like ASP.Net, we can built our own User Control, build new customized Web Parts, templates, skins and join together with SQL Server.. There's a lot more coz' the training took us 5 days.. but i'm lazy to write it all down.. U can just YM me about it.. and i'll tell you the grandmother story :) And for those of u who are familiar with LINQ, then you'll have no problem in understanding ADO.. coz LINQ extends on ADO anyway..

So next topic.. Farewell.. not my farewell.. but my current boss farewell.. Bernard.. How sad i was when i heard he's been relocate to other department.. :( HE IS THE BEST BOSS EVER! He's not like any other boss.. He's your mentor, your big brother, your partner in crime and your friend.. and sometimes he can become such a clown.. There's one time where i was seriously consider to change to other department, but i didn't because i know i couldn't get any other boss who are better than him :( But, dah xde jodoh kan.. So i wish him all the best.. YOU ARE THE GREATEST BOSS a "kuli" like us could ever have.. You guys can view the farewell party we throw for him at my Flickr.

Tomorrow InsyaAllah, i'm going to take both my male cats to "sunat" (Castration) them.. Haha.. Although it's painful i'm sure, but it's for their own good.. I want my cats to be all cute and fat! But my main intention is for their health.. I want them to live longer.. So that my child (errrr..) can play with them.. Tomorrow morning, me and my dad will take them to Klinik Kembiri which located at Setapak.. Each cat costs about RM 45.. and we'll see what more they can offer.. For the past few weeks, i've been reading lots of religious opinion regarding castration of cats.. I've found one that is convincing from SPCA and leads me to take this action.. Here goes :-

According to the experts, neutered cats are healthier and less prone cancerous of the reproductive organs. Cats become less likely to wander and will therefore not get lost, hurt, sick and not incur the wrath of the public from their mating activities.

We have referred to the "Jawatankuasa Kemajuan Islam Malaysia" regarding the neutering of pets. Below is the "fatwa" issued by JAKIM (July 2002): "All pets like cats and dogs are allowed to be neutered or spayed in order to maintain the health and welfare of both the animals and the community." "Bahawa mengembiri binatang kesayangan seperti kucing atau anjing hukumnya adalah diharuskan dengan sebab-sebab tertentu iaitu bagi menjaga muslahat ummah." After studying the messages of the aforementioned "mazhab"s and the medical viewpoint of the SPCA animal experts, 'JAKIM' has decided that neutering of cats for reasons of 'maslahat' is acceptable. It is in agreement with 'qaedah' (way) Fiqhiyyah which states "To choose the lesser of two evils"

So.. hopefully, i made the right decisions.. :) I would appreciate your opinions btw..

Myself
My name is Nazirah. I am 24 this year. Born in Penang and now live in Selangor. I am 160cm tall and weight range between 48-53kg (quite fat i think). I am very friendly, funny and extroverted. In my free time i like to surf the net, berangan-angan and also flirting.. I would say flirting is my best skill atm.. Hahaha :p I'm still single and available.. Errr.. sort of! :D

Family
I am the first from 3 siblings. I have a little sister and brother. My brother is in Standard One.. Quite tall but doesn't have any front teeth.. Haha.. My mom and dad are considered quite young. Both of them are not 50 yet ;) My mom are working in Penang while my dad travels quite a lot.. I have 2 cats (I considered them as part of our family :) ).. Both are male and still in their teens.. Hehe.. We named them Kit & Kat.. I actually want to name them Brad Pitt & George Clooney.. But me and my sisters are arguing which one got to become Brad Pitt.. so we dropped that out.. :D

Career
Currently working at Petronas Twin Tower. Level XX :P I'm a Solution Developer for Application Development Department. Building application from scratch. Specialized in SharePoint, .Net, C#, and SQL. I consider this as my first job coz this is the first time i've ever been confirmed as a permanent employee.. i've been here for quite some time now and planning to stay here for a long time.. :) When i joined last year, i was the youngest employee they hired.. Before this, they didn't accept fresh grads, but according to my boss, apparently my senior was impressed by my communication skills and technical test.. So they decided to take me in.. Bet they regret that now.. Hahahaha.. I enjoy my work here.. I can go to training on advance programming level, latest Microsoft product and get to travel to Petronas site..

Relationship
Currently with someone. Well i guess u all know from my previous entry :"> Not much to say about this one since i've learned from my previous relationship not to put high hopes on it.. becoz if it doesn't work out like u want it to be, u'll be crushed.. If it isn't meant to be, then it isn't meant to be :) I don't know how far this relationship is going to last but i hope for the best.. I'm happy with Sammy.. Not only he's hot and good looking, but he's the sweetest thing (in my personal view la :P )

Yikes, i wish Sammy doesn't read my blog :S

Tag Board

Assalamualaikum.. Today, I am going to add a tag board / shoutbox to my blog.. A lot of people had already asked me to place a tag board in my blog because they can insert their comments and what not.. Actually there are reasons why i didn't do this earlier..

You see, i've already had a blog since the last 4 or 5 years.. The first blog i've ever created was this http://massspectrometry.blogspot.com/ and i really love it.. I put a whole lot of effort for this blog, to make it become presentable, creative and sweet.. (Fyi, i'm no longer using that blog).. And of coz, i had my own shoutbox from oggix. (For some reason, oggix is banned in Petronet *sigh*)

So basically, at that time, there are people who just can't stop annoying me.. They always visits my blog, leave nasty comments, putting inappropriate advertisements, the list can go on.. and they just can't leave me alone.. So everyday i had to check my shoutbox, clean up those comments and banned them.. It is so tiring.. That is why i don't place shoutbox anymore..

Hopefully at this time, there won't be cases like that.. :)

After PESITAS UAT & 1st Tagged

Assalamualaikum.. Hi there.. Today i'm going to update my blog.. 1stly coz, i haven't update for a long time (not unless u count my last entry..which i wrote as a way for me to express my anger..), 2ndly coz, i've been tagged by Dayah.. well.. we all know the rules.. if we got tagged, we had to it.. hehe.. So i'm gonna start my entry with this tagged here..

1. A new phone!

I seriously need this one :( The reason is because my current phone is soo boring. My dad bought me this chinese phone.. N the only cool thing about it is, it can store 2 sim card, touch screen and kinda thin.. I can't mms, can't gprs with it, no bluetooth, no infrared.. n surely, no 3G.. Since i just join the Celcom 1+3 plan, it would be a waste if i don't use those facilities.. The phone i had in mind is of coz, iPhone 3G.. But if this phone is not available until August, i think i'm just gonna grab any phone with a big display screen + 3G..

2. A free-for-a-lifetime airlines tickets to KK, Sabah.

One reason only, Sammy :( Everytime i think about him, it makes me want to relocate to Sabah.. coz it's nearer to him and i wouldn't have to miss him so much.. I hate missing him.. Even though i know i can relocate there, it would jeopardize my career :( I wouldn't want that.. and he wouldn't want that.. So if i could just have this thing i wish for.. I would be the happiest person on earth :D

3. The new Mercedes C Class

OMG! Who on earth would want to give me that?! Even in my dreams, no one would!.. But seriously.. I would love to have this car.. It's really f**king expensive though.. One day, maybe.. I have this car.. But it doesn't matter.. I love my Kelisa..

4. A cat

Owh well.. I wish I had a cat.. My mom forbids me from having a cat though.. I used to have 2 cats.. called Kit and Kat.. one died and another one missing.. really breaks my heart though.. and since then, i never had a cat.. but i would love to have a cat.. and Sammy loves cat! He looks like he can make out with them.. Haha.. kiddin' :p

This one, i'm gonna ask from my dad!.. Haha.. Abah, pls pls bought me an apartment in KL.. I can't afford it :(( Waaaaaa :((

And i'm looking forward for more .Net project so that i can polish my skills.. and hopefully I stop being stupid this time.. :(
