Unblock?

Hi.. I still feel a bit shock now.. Is it blogs has been unblock by PetroNet? OR is it for temporary only? One thing I hate it here is that this guys keep blocking and blocking sites everyday.. I wish they don't block blogs.. Pleaaaaseeee guys.. Let us have a bit of life here.. Hehe..

Right now i'm kinda addicted to Facebook.. I used to have Friendster, MySpace & whatever it is that's like that.. & I close my account due to one tragic incident.. And after that, i don't join any 'friends space' anymore..

But as i try out Facebook, i become addicted to it.. I can't even concentrate on my job.. And yesterday, they blocked Facebook! I became so angry because that's the only interesting thing in the Internet here.. But today they unblock Facebook.. So happy.. and now, they unblock blogs.. Aaa..so happy.. Hehehe..

Oklah..Get back to work! Later..

Almost 2 months

Assalamualaikum.. Hey all.. How r u? I'm fine just like always.. It's been 2 months since i work here at Petronas, iPerintis. So far i've involved in 4 projects. 3 of them are for Petronas Carigali. Another one is for Ethelyne & Polyethelyne. (Didn't sure if i spelled it right). Anyways, it's been a good and fun experience for me. I met a lot of Petronas 'big' people. Plus, i get to know a lot of guys who are cute and same age as me!.. Hehe..

The internet here are sucks as always. More and more site are blocked. I am forced to concentrate on work. But, i am very busy at the moment. After development, there's always documentation. Ergh! The thought of it makes me want to vomit. But on a lighter site, I LOVE MY JOB! The pay is good, the people are friendly, my boss is extremely nice and i have lots of friends!

Around next month maybe i get to go to Kerteh. Yey! Hopefully they take us to the 'Pelantar' this time. I would love to be a Petronas IT support team. Which means we can work directly with Petronas people and be located at their main office.

Enough about my work. Right now i'm at home using Maxis Broadband i recently subscribe. This is the only way i can update my blog.

I have lots to say, but I can't seem to find the right words to write here. Well, maybe next time. Sorry if i'm being a little 'arrogant' about my job. I'm not. It's just, i really like it here. All the previous company that i used to work for is very 'bermasalah' for me. You know how it feels to finally settle in a good company right? And i am planning to stay here for a very long time. Hehe. InsyaAllah.

Oklah, hope you guys had a great weekend. Take care everyone!

Things that drive me crazy!

Hey people.. How u doin? Still enjoying your Raya? Me.. not in a good mood this past days.. Looks like it's a bad week for me.

First, all blogspot site has been blocked by this damn stupid internet that so called Petr*Net. (F*** tol la). Most of my favourite site has also been blocked. *Sigh*. It's not like my blog or the other blog i read has nudity, drugs, violence, alcohol or whatever shit in it. And my blog?? It's just a place where a 23 yeard old girl can express her thoughts, opinions and belief. This is just so depressing. Now i can only surf the web for "legitimate business purposes only". What am i? An ELF??

Second, why is my Touch N Go card always giving me a stupid problem? The other day, i swiped my card at the KL Central komuter, then when i reached Sungai Buloh, the T'N'G lane broke down.. so i can't swiped my card. And the next day, when i swiped my card again, it gives me error "Kad Tidak Sah". Yeah i know that it's an In and Out kinda thing, but it's not my fault I didn't swipe. That stupid machine is faulty! So i have to go to the T'N'G office in KL Central. They told me i have to pay RM 10.00 for a new card because they can't fix it. And i did pay because I'm too tired to fight.

And just now, it gives me problem again. Suddenly it gives me "Kad Tidak Sah" message. WTF? What went wrong now? So i went to the counter and luckily the lady can fix it. So much for a Touch N Go. Why not call it a Touch N Give You Headache Card?

Finally, did u know that DUMBLEDORE IS GAY???? WTF?? Dumbledore? The fatherly figure to Harry Potter? The one where all the magic community respects and the greatest dark wizard of all time fear most? How can JK do this to us? This is just soo...unbelievable. Here's an article :

""Harry Potter" author J.K. Rowling confirmed to
TIME MAGAZINE Friday at a public appearance that Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore, the father figure to Harry in the successful series, is gay.Rowling went on to explain that Dumbledore was smitten with rival Gellert Grindelwald, whom he defeated long ago in a battle between good and bad wizards.

Ultimately his love was his "great tragedy...
Falling in love can blind us to an extent."More relevant is that Rowling told the audience that while working on the planned sixth Potter film, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," she spotted a reference in the script to a girl who once was of interest to Dumbledore. A note was duly passed to director David Yates, revealing the truth about her character. "

I'm not feeling happy now. Hopefully when i meet my boyfriend for his birthday this Monday, things will lighten up and I'll be cheerful again.

P/S: What am i going to buy for my boyfriend's birthday?? I'm thinking of bringing some cash and let him choose whatever he wants. or any other ideas? And awakk, please don't ask me to buy a MacBook Pro. That is ridiculously ridiculous.

11 Rules from Bill Gates

Bill Gates recently gave a speech at a High School about 11 things they did not and will not learn in school. He talks about how feel-good, politically- correct teachings created a generation of kids with no concept of reality and how this concept set them up for failure in the real world.

Rule 1: Life is not fair - get used to it.

Rule 2: The world won't care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself.

Rule 3. You will not make $60,000 a year right out of high school. You won't be a vice-president with a car phone until you earn both.

Rule 4: If you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss.

Rule 5: Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your grandparents had a different word for burger flipping - they called it opportunity.

Rule 6: If you mess up, it's not your parent's fault, so don't whine about your mistakes, learn from them.

Rule 7: Before you were born, your parents weren't as boring as they now are. They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and listening to you talk about how cool you thought you were. So before you save the rain forest from the parasites your parent's generation created, try delousing the closet in your own room.

Rule 8: Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but life HAS NOT. In some schools they have abolished failing grades and they'll give you as MANY TIMES as you want to get the right answer. This does not bear the slightest resemblance to ANYTHING in real life.

Rule 9: Life is not divided into semesters. You don't get summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you FIND YOURSELF. Do that on your own time.

Rule 10: Television is NOT real life. In real life people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to jobs.

Rule 11: Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up working for one.

P/s Good. I'm dating a nerd :D

Me at My New Work Place

4th October 2007

Assalamualaikum.. Hey y'all.. It's my 4th day at my new work place.. Let me tell you what had happened the last 3 days..

First day
My first day at work, i went to the HR office, at Menara HLA.. The first thing i saw was "Welcome to our new shipmates : Nazirah and Fazley".. I was like, "This is sweet".. I arrived there at about 8.10 a.m.. So, around 9.30 a.m, one of the HR ppl called, we went into the meeting room.. and they gave each of us a medium size paper bag, filled with all the stationary u could asked for.. There's paper file, plastic file, notepad, staple, tape dispenser, post-it note, ruler, pen.. basically everything u need in the office.. Both of us went, "Cool".. Haha..

The first day was just briefing.. About Petronas, i-Perintis, the twin towers.. They told me i will be located at Tower 1, level 59.. So we went to the Tower by taxi.. Supposedly we have to walk to KLCC, but since one of our HR is pregnant, we took a cab..

And so we arrived there and i follow Kak Ina (HR) to level 59.. There i was introduced to my colleagues (which i can't remember anyone of them now).. Then my boss, took me to level 60 and introduced me to my colleagues too (see, how can i remember?).. He showed my place and immediately told me what i have to do..

He asked me to learn ASP.Net 2.0, using Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server 2005.. Previously i used ASP.Net 1.1, VS 2003 and SQL 2003.. He gaved me 800 pages of an E-book and told me to complete them by this Friday.. I told him, "Ok".. What else should i said?!

Second day

I arrive quite early around 7.45 a.m.. and immediately went to the tower.. I register myself at Tower 2 (1st mistake), and told them i work at Level 59 (2nd mistake) and immediately took a lift to level 41 (then, u have to change the lift to level 60).. Once at level 41, i realize one thing.. Why is the sign board showed "Cross to Tower 1 using skybridge"?? Then it hits me. I look at my pass. "I'm in Tower 2!! Damn!" (3rd mistake)

So i rushed down, assuming that i can use the same pass (4th mistake), i went to Tower 1. I cross the barrier and immediately take the lift to level 41. Then, changed the lift to level 59 (5th mistake).. As one of my colleague scan her pass to open the door, i got in without scanning mine.. In the office, i keep going round and round looking for my place.. But i can't find it.. So i asked one of my colleagues, he said i'm in 60.. "Arrgghhh!!"

So i went to level 60, scan my pass at the door, but i couldn't get through.. At that time, i sort of realize that i maybe i can't access it.. Lucky me, one of my colleague want to go out, so i got through.. Finally, i found my desk..

At lunch time, i wanted to go the post office so i went down and suddenly, i couldn't got through the barrier. And the security arrived and i told them i couldn't get out.. He took my pass, look at me (with serious face), and this is how our conversation goes :

Security : "Ini pas Menara 2"
Me : "A'ah. Saya terambil pas salah. Saya nak gi tuka la ni"
Security : "Awak xleh masuk Menara 1 pakai pas Menara 2"
Me : "Owh. Ye ke? Saya x tahu"
Security : "Mcm mana awak masuk?"
Me : "Saya lalu bende ni la.. pakai pas tu"
(Looked at me, he try to scan the pass from where i got in earlier. It blocks)
Me : "Eh! Boleh tadi! Betol. Kalau x, camne sy lepas"
Security : "Ok, ikut pintu tu."
(Phewwww..)

So i went to Tower 2 to change the pass. And they told me to wait, hold my driving license, and they want to investigate me.. I was like.."I'm sorrryy!! I'm confused! This is 2nd day and I'm lost!" The security told me that i can be punish for that.. I wanted to cry.. but knowing that i am very innocent, i didn't cry.. and so i wait..

5 minutes later, the police came.. (The police??!!).. They called me and this is how it goes :

Policeman : "Awak Nazirah ke?"
Me : "Ye"
Policeman : "Baru keje?"
Me : "A'ah. Nih hari ke-2"
Policeman : "Awak sesat hari ni?"
Me : "A'ah. Saya betol2 x confius. Saya x perasan ni Tower 2. Saya pon naik je."
Me : "Pastu sy sedar silap, saya terus ke Tower 1. Saya ingat xyah tuka pas"
Policeman : "Awak keje tingkat 60 kan? Tp awak tulis 59?"
Me : "A'ah. Tuh pon saya silap. Saya (pening dh nak explain) saya silap tulis. Saya terlupa"
Policeman : "Saya check awak kat surveillance camera. Saya nampak awak pusing-pusing."
Policeman : "Dari menara 1 ke menara 2. Memang nampak mcm awak sesat"
Me : "Memang saya sesat (dgn nada yg sedey)"
Policeman : "Oklah, lepas ni jgn sesat lg. Dan ingat tower mana awak keje"
Me : "K" (sedey)

At 5.30 p.m (time to go back), one of the security guard said "Sesat lagi ke cik adik?"
Senyum jerk la.. dlm hati, geramnyer la..

Third day
I arrive early at 7.20 a.m.. I took my pass and i noticed that most of the security guards was eye-ing me.. From the moment i checked in until the moment i checked out, they were looking at me the strange way..
I'm beginning to think that maybe i am being watched.. All my moves is being watched by the security as well as the police.. I feel like a criminal.. I'm NOT !!! I just want to work here peacefully :((

Fourth day
Everything was ok today.. And my boss told me i received my first project! Which is a web-based system using Microsoft Sharepoints.. I had no idea what it is.. But he gives me time to learn it.. And told me, once he officially hand-it to me, i had 5 days to complete it.. 5 days!!.. I better start learning now..

Later guys.. In case, i had no time to write another entry, i hope it's not too soon to wish "Selamat Hari Raya!!"

Buka Puasa at PTGC & Dave's Deli

Hi.. How r u today? I'm a bit tired today but i'm doin' good. Before i talk about the main topic i had in mind which is as the title goes, i like to highlight yesterday main events which is "buka puasa" (break the fast) at Perangsang Templer Golf Club.

There are so many people there and a bit crowded. Seeing many foods makes u kinda hungry. U know when u are fasting, everything looks kinda delicious, and i take lots of food with me. But the food was ok. I'd like to thank our CEO, Mr. Foong for being so generous by sponsoring this events.

After all the eating, we went for bowling also located at the same place. I played of course. I used to be really good in bowling back when i was in Form 2, which is in 1998. I used to represents my school. And i remember my highest score is 180. But in 1999, i decided to stop until now.

So yesterday game was bad for me. The first game was ok and i have teamed up with Thava and Azlan. But in 2nd game, i make a total fool of myself. Imagine scoring less than 50 points? How sucks was i? Hahaha!

Ok, enough of that. Now i'm going to talk about Dave's Deli Restaurant which located in One Utama. Me and ex-classmates, Azhari, decided to eat here because since neither of us have been there, we might as well try it. The policy there is that, we have to order at the counter and pay first before we can get cozy at our sit. So i order spaghetti with lasagna and hot chocolate (my fave) and Azhari ordered spaghetti with meat balls.

While we were waiting to break the fast and arrival of the food, suddenly a rat/mouse jumped from one of the table to one of the nearest rack and wouldn't go anywhere. We were afraid that what if the rat jumped into our table while we are eating. But, since it was just a few minutes away to break the fast, we decide not to worry about it. (we are really hungry u know!)

Another thing that pisses me off is that, we were among the first customers who ordered the food. But we got our food really late. Even the people who arrived 30 minutes after us got their food first. I know it's not a big deal but how would u feel?

Then the worst part of all is that, the food is beyond disaster. The spaghetti and lasagna sucks. Even i can cook better! Seriously. It doesn't taste like a spaghetti or lasagna. I don't know what it taste like but it's bad. Azhari meatball tastes like rotten meat. The hot chocolate? Doesn't taste like chocolate, it taste like a hot milk. Both of us ended up not finishing our food. We swears that this is the first and the last time we ever ate at Dave's Deli.

Well, i guess that's all. I have let my frustration out. Hehe. But, if anybody has got other opinion about Dave's Deli One Utama, do let me know. Later.

Ten Reason Why We Should Date a Geek

Hi guys.. mornin to you.. How r u today? I'm fine and believe it or not, this is my last week at my current company.. Just now, like always, we had an assembly (every monday we have it), and today is my turn to deliver a speech about any Superbrands company and i choose "Hewlett Packard". No surprise with that since i am an IT freak. Can i be consider a "geek"? I wouldn't mind though.. Hehe.

Ok, as usual, i do my daily routine, if you haven't guessed it, surfing digg.com, and i found this article that say "Ten Reason Why You Should Date a Geek" And the list are:-

  1. Geeks are useful, they can fix your desktop, laptop, … Those skills are very useful and can make your life run smooth.
  2. They are romantic than they’re given credit for. Their idea of romance might be making up a web-page abut about you. But hey it lasts longer than flowers and you can show your friends.
  3. They’ve got brains and they’re usually very well educated.
  4. They’re relatively low-maintenance. So there will be no complicated dinners needed. And if you’re not the best cook, you can order a pizza.
  5. You won’t have to worry about what he’s doing. You’ll probably find him at his computer.
  6. They trust you, so you can be yourself around them. You like to walk around the house in a ratty t-shirt for comfort? He won’t care. They won’t get pissy if you don’t wear make-up or don’t want to bother primping your hair.
  7. He will make you shine everywhere you go. No matter how clumsy you sense of style, no matter how awkward your social skills, you’ll be a fashion star and a classy diplomat next to your geek. He’ll make you look so good; you’ll fall in love with yourself.
  8. If you are not into computers, TVs and DVD and you don’t care about being popular and fashionable. What about the newest techie gadgets? You are going to be a proud owner of the latest gadgets if you ever decide to date a geek.
  9. He won’t cheat on you either. Place the sexiest woman on earth in a room with a geek, say Angelina Jolie. At the other corner of the room, place the latest model of some computer or other. I am willing to bet that your geek would want to play with that computer much more than getting to know Angelina Jolie. In fact, he might not even see her if the computer is on and connected to the Internet. C’mmon he has to check his email, surf the web and blog about the fact that he is in a room with Angelina Jolie.
  10. The final reason is: They actually give a damn about you. Not how you look (though that’s a plus), not how skinny you are, not how much make-up you primp yourself up with, but they like you for you.
Well, i guessed that explains everything. Hehe. There are a lot of articles about this topic and i'm not sure which are the original one. So i picked the one which i read it. Link

But if you noticed No.9, if i were in a room with Brad Pitt and with the latest model of computer, i would 100% neglected it and would go to Brad Pitt. C'mon? Brad Pitt and a computer? The computer can wait.. Haha.

P/S My friend, Dayah is going to post about "Why We Shouldn't Date a Geek?" I'll update the link as soon as she finished it.

When confronted by police + Professor giving his last lesson

Hai.. it's saturday mornin and i'm at my office doing, well doing nothing.. Haha.. So as usual, my routine is to surf digg.com and i saw 2 article that attracts me.. The first one is "10 things to remember when confronted by the police" and "CMU professor gives his last lesson on life".. Let's start with the first article.

1o Things to Remember When Confronted by Police
According to this article, when we are confronted by the police, we should our rights and know what we should and should not do. There are 10 steps, which are :

1. Don't Talk.
2. Don't Run.
3. Never Resist Arrest.
4. Don't Believe the Police.
5. No Searching.
6. Don't Look At Places Where You Don't Want Police to Search.
7. Do Not Talk Shit to the Police.
8. If Police Come to Your Home, Do not Let Them In and Do Not Step Outside Your Home.
9. Outside Your Home Arrested, Do Not Accept Offer to Go In Your Home for Anything.
10. Don't say a word.

This is pretty hard to do since when we were confronted, we sort of panic and tend to do the opposite of this list. I don't know about you guys, but if it was me, i'm sure i will do exactly the opposite. Well, i hope i will never get confronted by the police. If the policeman is good-looking that is totally a different issue. Haha! You can read the full article here.

The second article is
"CMU professor gives his last lesson on life".

I was so touched when i read this article. It's about a professor giving his last lesson to his students due to cause that the professor is suffering from the incurable pancreatic cancer. The fact that he knew he only has months to live, yet he is still strong, he had made all his dreams come true, advice his student to do the same, and still stayed positive in his life. The only times he cry is when he thinks about his family, his children and his wife.

I cannot go on telling you guys because for me, it's just so sad. You can read it here.

My point is, i am so touched about how he had live his life, knowing that he only have months to live but still so strong than any of us who just healthier than him. He has become my new inspiration on how to live my life.

Friends I Can't Wait to Meet

Hi there people all around the globe.. As i was surfing at Digg.com, i saw this article. It's about one blogger who hoped that we will write on one of the 100 topics he listed. So i pick one of the topics which is Friends I Can't Wait to Meet. It's been a while since i meet all or most of them. So, here goes my list (random, no particular order) :

Rahlizawati @ Liza
Liza is one of my best friends since i start my diploma days. I love her because she's very loyal and always stand up for you. She's very honest and will tell you what is your mistakes and give you solutions on ways to make it right. She's the person who has a big giant heart and very generous. I can't imagine how my life would be if i hadn't met her. She's the best.

Efy Muliyani @ Jenglot
I know efy in my last sem while during my degree. She's very supportive and always speaks whatever she feels and very straight forward with you. She's very helpful and you know that you can count on her for help. Sometimes she can be really loud but that's ok, because i really enjoyed it. I really like it when she laugh. Her laughs sounds scary but in a cute way. (Does it make sense? Haha)

May Ling
Same like efy, i know maylin in last sem and i found that she's very thoughtful person. She cares for you and makes you feel very comfortable when you are with her. I can asked her for help and she's there to help you. Although i know her for a short period, but i really like being around her.

Siti Nur Raziah @ Ziah
I haven't met this girl for a long time. Last time i met her is during my friends convocation. She is my Harry Potter buddies. When we are together, we talked mostly about Harry Potter. Even we do lines together and act like one. She's very funny and you can feel the energy when being with her because she's very energetic.

Mohd Yazid
Ergh. I don't know what to say about this guy. Sometimes he makes me feel so angry, annoying and i really hate him at some point. But sometimes he can make u laugh your heart out because he's the best story teller and always making people laugh. If you are with him, there will not be a minute where he will not talk. He will talk, talk n talk. But the thing is, i enjoyed hearing them.

Siti Nur Hidayah @ Dayah
I know this girl when i was doing my ACCP program. She has become one of my best friends now because we can actually sit, doing nothing and just talk. She is very generous, very soft spoken, kind and someone you can rely on. She's very good in cooking and i love her cooking. She's also very smart, funny and i love hangin' out with her.

Mohd Azmil
Well, in case you didn't know, azmil is one of my ACCP classmates. He sits behind me and everyday I could hear him cursing his computer which is funny. He's actually very soft spoken and very polite with girls (which i like about him). And one of the reason i can't wait to meet him is because he's very funny in a way that he didn't intend to be. Although he didn't make jokes, but just by looking at him and hear the words coming from him, its good enough to make me laugh.

Nik Fauzan
This guy can be a pain in the a** for me sometimes. He's also one of my ACCP classmates and he sits beside azmil. When he started making jokes about u, he will never stops it until at some point u kinda feel like punching him in the face just to make him stop. Haha. In a way, he's also funny. I have an opportunity to work with him on our JSP projects. He's very hardworking and a good leader. Although he's badly smells (due to his smoking addiction), but i like him :D

Lenny Tabari
When i first saw lenny, i thought that she's not so friendly type of person. But it was fortunate for me since i got to work with her also in our JSP projects. lenny is also one my ACCP classmates. Being friends with lenny is amazing. She's very very kind and she will make sure that you are ok and is really supportive. She's generous, honest, fun to be with and i can't wait to meet her.

Darsi Sarina
Also one of my classmates, i met darsi when i was at our Setapak hostel. We were staying in the same hostel and since then we kind of become pretty close. We share some of our secrets together, we had lunch, dinner, hang-out and most of my activity, i do it with her. She's real fun to be with and really good listener. She's willing to share anything she had with you and always so generous.

Suriyanti @ Sue
Another of my generous fren. She's willing to help you eventhough she's tired and she makes sure that you are satisfied with it. She's definitely one of the person you want to make frens with. When you're with her, she kinda like make sure that everything is well with you. Very caring. She's cool.

Marini
The best "tukang masak" i've ever known. Very delicious. She's the one who taught me how to make trifle. The reason why i can't wait to meet her is because she had so many stories, gossip and jokes and after she tells em', you kinda like want to hear more. She's incredibly energetic, fun to hang-out with and just love being around her. Sometimes can be a pain in the a** (yeah, hehe) because of her honesty, but i find a way to tolerate with that because she's just saying what she believe and u can't blame people on something that they believe rite.

Kak Paeh
"Garang", that's the first word when i think about her. Haha. Then followed by, "rajin", "alim", "cerewet", "pandai masak" and "kisas" Hehe. But seriously, kak faiz is someone when you want to get advice on something, you can turn to her and asked her and she will give you one of the best advice.. She is very mature and kinda like a mother to you but a cool one. Kak paeh, would you like to be my godmother? Haha!

Ros Azliza
Ros has been with me through my difficult times and i really appreciated it. She helped me a lot. When i fall, she's there to help me stand up. There were times i just wanted to end my life but she's always there to guide me to the right path. She's just there to help you in any way she can. She can stop doing whatever it is she is doing just to listen to your problem. She has been a good friend and i really miss her.

Ikmal
I just love ikmal. By the way, for your info, ikmal is a female. We have become friends since my diploma days back in Kolej Legenda. It didn't started well at first but when i became her roommates, we just "click". I haven't met her in a while now. I'm looking forward to hangin out with her because there's so much to talk about.

Shahida
Shahida is one of my best friends since primary school. We started become friends since standard 4 and always like each other company. She's loyal, someone you can trust and will never betrayed you in any way. She's always open, willing to accept advice from you and very modest even though she doesn't have to because she's always pretty. I like her and her family whom had been really nice to me since the very beginning. I haven't met for more than 5 years now and really miss her.

Ergh, i could go on u know because there's plenty more of my friends that i can't wait to meet. But i kinda run short of time and this is basically the list of friends that is on my mind rite now. Well, i hope u guys can write any of the topics in the link i provide earlier or maybe just this one.

So, till then. Later.

My friends brother is on the news (bad news)

Last night as i was watching the news on TV3, i notice the headline "Cedera parah akibat mercun" (Injured while playing firecracker), and my auntie was saying "Tiap-tiap tahun pon ade kejadian mcm ni" (Every year this thing keep happening). and suddenly i saw my friends face, Mohd Hafiz Daud "Abang Mangsa" (Brother's victim) talking about what had happened to his brother. I try to call him last nite but it didn't get through. So i decided to call 2 of our friends to inform the unfortunate events.

Just a couple of minutes ago, i gave Hafiz a call. He said his brother condition is still worse and he didn't know that they were playing with firecracker.

So i went to the online news this morning and find the article here

Here's a snippet:

"Akhbar ini semalam melaporkan Mohd Fitri dikhuatiri buta kedua-dua matanya apabila terkena letupan karbaid yang dibakar dalam tong plastik di rumahnya, di Taman Setia Budiman, Bedong, dekat sini, jam 6.45 petang kelmarin."

Although his brothers eye is seriously injured, let's pray that his brother will fully recover and can enjoy this festive season. Amin.

Entertainment Time

Hey.. How's fasting month been for you? Hope everything has been great.. Today i would like to share my opinion on the topic where mostly everyone in the world is talking about, which is"Britney Spears". As most of you guys know, i'm a huge britney fan. Since i saw her in "Baby, One More Time.." until now i still love britney.

Although her performance in the VMA's 2007 is so-so, but i think she's doin' just fine. It clearly looks like she needed help and we can actually see that this girl is in trouble. While all the media (tv, magazines, talk show, radio) is making fun of her, slammin her in every direction.. At one point i think Chris Crocker (the dramatic "Leave Britney Alone" clip) is right, we should leave britney alone.. Give her time to put her life back into the right pieces.

I don't care what people said about her but i am britney fan and always will be. I am not defending or encouraging every britney's move. As a human, we do make mistakes and we deserve a second chance. Life is about making mistakes and learned from it. When we fall, we find a way to stand up. And i believe that one day, Britney will find a way to stand up for herself and we will have our good-ol britney back. & I really miss the old britney.

That's all for now. Later y'all ;)

P/s Britney Spears still rocks!

The September 11 thing

Yesterday is the 6th years anniversary of the September 11 attacks resulting in the collapse or severe damage of several skyscrapers at the World Trade Center in New York, destruction of the western portion of The Pentagon in Virginia and airliner crash in Pennsylvania.. And until now, we can still feel the impact it had not just for the Americans, but the whole world as well..

The Nine-Eleven events is often related to Iraq, Al-Qaeda, Osama Bin Laden and Islamic community.. How can this happen? Because of several Islamic extremist, the whole Islamic community is treated as if we carried guns or bombs under our clothes?! Clearly, those people need to learn what Islam is and how it guides it's followers before treating Muslims like sh*t.

As i was surfing the net, digg.com (my fave site).. I came to one of this article that really interest me.. Check this out..

"
To this day, millions of Americans believe we invaded Iraq because of 9/11.

33 percent still believe there was some interconnection between Saddam Hussein and the nightmares here and in Washington and in Pennsylvania.

Iraq, of course, had nothing to do with 9/11. Then. Six years later, that has changed.

Iraq has distracted us from punishing those responsible for 9/11.

If another 9/11 comes, our focus on Iraq will surely have been central to that nightmare.

How did we get here? What consequences have been paid by those who brought us here?

In our number one story tonight, no one person is to blame. And only some of those who are, recognize it.

As we reported yesterday, former Secretary of State Colin Powell tells G-Q magazine he is “sorry” he gave the world wrong information when he told the U-N of the threat Iraq supposedly posed.

He was not fired for doing so.

He paid no price we know of, other than the admitted “blot” on his record, and whatever toll his conscience exacted.

Unrepetant, however, is former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, also talking to G-Q;

Saying he does not lose sleep over the war… declining to apologize for it… despite pushing for it… despite using 9/11–the day after 9/11–for his own benefit, to pursue his goal of bombing Iraq.

Rumsfeld, not fired for his performance, but for politics… now in private life… reportedly trying to see how much he must tell, to make for a profitable tell-all. Rumsfeld was served, and the nation ill-served, by a flock of Pentagon hawks, bent on war, seeing 9/11 not as an obligation to answer,. but an opportunity to exploit.

Deputy Secretary Paul Wolfowitz who also tied Iraq to 9/11, who ridiculed warnings we needed more troops to invade Iraq–not fired– named head of the World Bank, until resigning in disgrace.

Defense Policy Board Chairman Richard Perle– not fired– forced to retire not for pushing the war, but for allegedly profiting off it.

Undersecretary Doug Feith, who cherry-picked anti-Iraq intel– not fired– despite a Pentagon report later refuting Feith’s claim that Iraq and al Qaeda were in league.

And as you go higher in the administration, your reward for being wrong on the war grows proportionately.

Deputy National Security Advisor Stephen Hadley– responsible for the 16-word lie about Iraqi pursuit of yellowcake from Niger– not fired– promoted to National Security Advisor.

His boss, Condoleezza Rice, who threatened us with mushroom clouds– not fired– promoted to America’s chief diplomat: Secretary of State.

CIA Director George Tenet, who called the case for war a “slam dunk”– not fired– given the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

And within the president’s circle of advisors, marketing the war:

Andy Card and Dan Bartlett– neither fired. Card retired, Bartlett promoted, then retired.

Karen Hughes– not fired– promoted, stunningly, to the task of winning hearts and minds in the Muslim world.

But let us go higher still.

Vice President Dick Cheney, creator of his cherry-picking intel apparatus, gave its poisoned fruit to the media and then fed the lie to us on national television — even after truth, and shame, rendered its mendaciousness, manifest. He continues to do so to this day. Not fired.

Cheney’s aide, Lewis Libby, came closest of all to suffering genuine consequences. Convicted of covering up Mr. Cheney’s role in sliming critics of the war, his consequences nullified at the last minute. When the president commuted his prison sentence–ensuring that no one in his circle, least of all him– paid any price for selling us the lie of Iraq; for failing to punish the bombing of the U-S-S Cole; for neglecting the warnings pre-9/11;. for turning back at Tora Bora; for ultimately ensuring that while the rest of the world suffers painful, deadly consequences for his actions, only he does not.

Only he and one other. Osama bin Laden, the mastermind of 9/11, his reach, and recruiting, all benefiting from Mr. Bush’s war, his group’s strength today at a six-year high. His Afghan allies, the Taliban, as NBC reported tonight, also resurgent, planning the death of Americans, just 25 miles from Kabul.

All while bin Laden himself operates freely, unmolested, with his own media operation, thanks to a regional Pakistani truce endorsed by Mr. Bush in a region where Mr. Bush will not go– cannot go even if he chose to.

Because he has spent so much American blood and treasure, in the desert of a nation that had neither means nor motive to threaten us, but that tempted Mr. Bush and those around him who wished to transform the Middle East, so much so that he forswore the vow he made, standing here, literally atop New York’s dead… that their killers would hear us soon.

Six years later, we still hear them, because now, finally, Iraq and 9/11 really are connected–by him.

And we suffer the consequences."
